The Apex Karting Championship is a new, high-level regional racing program launching in 2026. Designed to bring professional-grade competition to the Southeast and Midwest, the series offers racers the chance to compete in premier events and earn an invitation to a centralized championship to crown the first-ever Apex Karting Champions.

cup karts of north america (CKNA)
The North Florida Kart Club is proud to host and support events for Cup Karts North America (CKNA), the premier four-cycle racing sanctioning body in the country. CKNA offers both National and Divisional racing series, providing a platform for racers of all experience levels to compete at a high level with a focus on fair play and technical consistency.
Whether you are looking to compete in the ultra-competitive North Division or set your sights on a National title, CKNA provides a professional racing environment with some of the largest fields in karting. We encourage all our members to explore these series to test their skills against the best in the business.

Endurance Karting
Experience the ultimate test of stamina and strategy with our endurance racing events! Unlike traditional sprint races, endurance karting pushes both driver and machine to the limit over several hours of non-stop action. These events often feature team-based competition, mandatory pit stops, and driver changes, making them a true community effort.
At the 103rd Street Sports Complex, we are proud to host premier endurance events like the 24th Annual Jacksonville Grand Prix, where teams battle on our high-speed 0.5-mile course. Whether you are a solo “Ironman” racer or part of a multi-driver team, endurance racing is a unique way to experience the thrills of the 1,000-ft straightaway and the banked Monza corner in a high-stakes, long-format environment.
Florida karting championship
For the 2026 season, the North Florida Kart Club is thrilled to host the Florida Karting Championship on October 2–4, 2026. This event is a highlight of the racing calendar, and the track will be reserved exclusively for the championship during this time. Whether you’re competing for a state title or watching from the grandstands, the FKC event is a must-see.
Florida Oval asphalt series (FOAS)
For those who prefer turning left on the high banks, the Florida Oval Asphalt Series delivers intense oval racing action. This series brings together a community of racers focused on precision and speed on asphalt oval tracks throughout the region. Vintage Karting Association (VKA)
The Vintage Karting Association supports the preservation and racing of vintage go-karts manufactured between karting’s 1956 inception and those at least 30 years old. The VKA is not a sanctioning body; instead, it establishes consistency guidelines for vintage events across the country to ensure the growth and continuation of this unique segment of the sport.
Please note: The 103rd Street Sports Complex will be closed to the public for practice during VKA events, such as the annual “Vintage Winter Ice Breaker,” typically held in late February.
